With March proclaimed as Red Cross Month by President Barack Obama, the American Red Cross South Florida Region recognizes and thanks the supporters and volunteers whose efforts enable the Red Cross to respond to disasters down the street, across the country and around the world.

  March 3, 2010 - Today the American Red Cross raised its initial pledge of support for Chile’s recovery to $250,000 and is now accepting monetary donations specifically for the response in Chile, following an international request for assistance from the Chilean Red Cross.
